All about the Nar Phu Trek.

Nar Phu region is the untouched and the least traveled remote region of the upper Manang that still stays away from modernity. Those who want to explore something beyond the mainstream trip around Annapurna circuit, then Narphu region might be an appropriate choice that gives an unforgettable journey towards the land of the youngest mountains.

Narphu valley trek was opened in 2003, since then there have been few trips to the land that almost resembles a lost oblivious region because the people in those areas are still highly unaware of the life beyond the mountains. The trek surely takes everyone towards the exciting yet startling lives of the people and their culture.

The trek begins from the same popular routes of the Annapurna circuit then heads towards From Koto to off-beaten track of Nar Phu valley, north of Manang, and then crossing the exciting Kang La pass. The Kang la pass links Nar with Manang and three other bhotia villages. The government of Nepal has decided to open up the beautiful region of Nar and Phu without restrictions, which has induced enthusiasm among the village inhabitants. From here, you can also go trekking to Ratna Chuli, Kang Guru, Himlung and Gyajing Kang. Annapurna Conservation Area Project is devising plans to extend tourism promotion programs in the beautiful Nar Phu Valley.

The beautiful view of western mountain ranges which also includes Annapurna mountain range is hypnotic because of their breathtaking beauty beyond one’s imagination. Other than the scenic and panoramic beauty the region has its interesting culture to offer that leaves people startled because of how it has flourished after plenty of hardships.
