Yala Peak is beautiful trekking peak of Nepal which lies in Langtang area. The height of Yala Peak is 5,700 meters/ 18,700 ft. Nepal Mountaineering Association has considered Yala Peak as a trekking peak of Nepal. This peak is not technical and it is simple to climb comparing other peaks of Nepal. Once the sumitter are on the top, they can see the excellent view of Shishapangma (8,013 meters) and other views of eight-thousanders and Tibetan landscapes.

Yala Peak is beautiful trekking peak of Nepal which lies in Langtang area. The height of Yala Peak is 5,700 meters/ 18,700 ft.   1. 01 Arrive in Kathmandu (1,350M/ 4,428Ft)

    Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, Fishtail Tours representative and driver will meet you at the Tribhuban International Airport and escort you to your designated hotel. The representative will help you to check into your hotel. In the hotel, you will be briefed about your daily activities during the trek. Overnight stay at hotel.

  2. 02 Trip preparation and Kathmandu sightseeing,

    We process for your restricted area permits and other necessary paper work for the following day. You can utilize this day on Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing which includes Swyambhunath (Monkey Temple), Bouddhanath (Biggest Buddhist Stupa), Pashupatinath (Biggest Hindus & Buddhist Pilgrimage) and Kathmandu Durbar Square (ancient capital of Kathmandu (Kantipur).

  3. 03 Drive to Syabrubesi (1,462M/ 4,796Ft), 7-8 hrs

    You will first drive to Syabru besi from Kathmandu through scenic hills and peaks passing Dhunche getting a glimpse of Ganesh Himal along the Trishuli River. Overnight at teahouse.

  4. 04 Trek to Lama Hotel (2,500M/ 8,200Ft), 5-6 hrs

    At first, the trail crossing the Bhote Koshi River following the Langtang Khola ascends up to Bamboo passing through some rocky paths. The trek then slowly moves towards Rimche from where you end the trail at Lama Hotel. Overnight at teahouse.

  5. 05 Trek to Langtang Village (3,307M/ 10,847Ft), 5-6 hrs

    The trek now will follow Gumanechowk, after this you will climb gradually towards beautiful valley. Langtang is a typical and one of the oldest among the trekking routes. From here you will have some splendid views of the mountains. Overnight at teahouse.

  6. 06 Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3,798M/ 12,458Ft), 4-5 hrs

    Lying in the lap of Langtang Lirung, Kyanjin Gompa is a place where you can explore around the valley and also climb several small peaks. This day is appropriate for acclimatizing. You will reach here after a short walk. Overnight at teahouse.

  7. 07 Trek to Yala Base Camp, 5-6 hrs

    You will follow a trail that ascends towards the base camp. This trek will give you plenty of opportunities to have some outstanding views of the high peaks like Yala Peak, Langtang Lirung and many others. You will then finally make it towards the base camp making necessary adjustments to finally make a summit towards Yala Peak. Overnight at camp.

  8. 08 Summit Yala Peak (5,500M/ 18,040Ft), 7-8 hrs

    You will make a summit to Yala Peak today. First you will make necessary adjustments and then finally head towards the summit of the peak while along the way you will be rewarded with some amazing breathtaking views of the high peaks like Shishapangma, Dorje Lakpa, Langtang Lirung, Ganchenpo and Naya Kanga. Spending some quality time at the summit you make your way back to the Base Camp. Overnight at camp.

  9. 09 Spare day

    An extra day in case of bad weather or other technical problem.

  10. 10 Trek back to Langtang Village (3,307M/ 10,847Ft), 6-7 hrs

    This day you will be trekking back from the Yala Peak all the way back retracing your footsteps following the same trail that passes through Kyanjin Gompa finally arriving at the Langtang Village. Overnight at teahouse.

  11. 11 Trek to Lama Hotel (2,500M/ 8,200Ft), 4-5 hrs

    You will leave Langtang village and then retrace the steps back to the main trail towards Ghoratabela from where it’s all an easy downhill walk through dense forests with oaks, birch, and hemlocks. Pass through Himalayan bamboos to finally reach the Lama Hotel. Overnight at teahouse.

  12. 12 Trek to Syabrubesi (1,462M/ 4,796Ft), 6-7 hrs

    You will begin the trek from the Lama Hotel towards the main trail descending all the way to Syabrubesi. This is going to be the final day of the trek so it’s all an easy trek passing along several villages and terraced farmlands through some rhododendron and pine trees. Overnight at teahouse.

  13. 13 Drive to Kathmandu (1,350M/ 4,428Ft), 7-8 hrs

    This day you will head back to Kathmandu from Syabrubesi, and pass some villages and towns giving the sights of the local people and their culture. Overnight at hotel.

  14. 14 Final departure

    After having breakfast at hotel, we process for farewell bid. Then our company representative will drop you at Airport for your onward journey.

Hotel, Teahouse (Lodge) & Camping

There are good hotels at Kathmandu with good services but trekking accommodation will be teahouse where food and accommodation are provided. It will be fully organized (camping accommodation) for climbing period and you are going to stay inside the tent. Your guide and you are going to prepared the food for your meal during the climbing period.
